WALRUS uses Stripe Connect to handle all payments and payouts. When you connect your Stripe account, every dollar you earn — from subscriptions, tickets, video messages, and merch — flows directly to your bank account.
Stripe Connect Express is the fastest option. You don't need an existing Stripe account — one is created for you during onboarding.
Go to your Manage dashboard and open Settings.
Click "Connect Stripe" or "Set up payouts."
Stripe will walk you through identity verification — name, date of birth, and last four of your SSN (for US artists).
Add your bank account or debit card for payouts.
Once verified, you're live. Payouts begin automatically.
Note
Stripe holds funds for 7 days after each transaction for fraud protection. After that initial hold, payouts are sent daily to your connected bank account. Most banks deposit within 1-2 business days.
Stripe may ask for additional documentation depending on your country and transaction volume. This is standard and required by financial regulations. Keep your information up to date to avoid payout delays.
